IALEIA is the largest professional organization in the world representing law enforcement analysts. It is based in the United States, and is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 corporation. IALEIA is managed by an international Board of Directors consisting of nine elected IALEIA members. Several board members are also supported by volunteer committees. IALEIA also has an Executive Advisory Board appointed by the President. IALEIA supports regional chapters throughout the world. IALEIA has a certification program for analysts, a code of ethics, and bylaws that provide structure for the organization. We represent law enforcement analysts in a variety of venues, and provide an environment of community by establishing regional chapters.
Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), is a 501(3)(c) global nonprofit membership community of business experts across industry, academia, and government who come together to build and share strategic intelligence, research decision-support tools, processes and analytics capabilities. The resulting collaboration of our membership supports strategy and other organizational disciplines to drive competitive advantage. Our network of professionals stems from a myriad of organizations both profit and non-profit. Our mission is to enhance the success of our members through leadership, education, advocacy, and networking.
Specifically, SCIP provides education and networking opportunities for business professionals working in the rapidly growing field of competitive intelligence (the legal and ethical collection and analysis of information regarding the capabilities, vulnerabilities, and intentions of business competitors). Many SCIP members have backgrounds in marketing, strategy, market research, strategic analysis, science and technology, data science, economics.
The Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) was founded in 1992 as a non-profit organization comprised of law enforcement, prosecutors, mental health professionals, corporate security experts, probation and parole personnel and others involved in the area of threat and violence risk assessment. The purpose of ATAP is to afford its members a professional and educational environment to exchange ideas and strategies to address such issues as stalking, threats, and homeland security. The primary focus of this organization is to provide the necessary knowledge, tools, and support to better prepare our membership to handle these types of situations. Our commitment is to expertly address these issues through seminars and training and networking with other professionals working in this field.
The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) is the leading nonpartisan, nonprofit trade association for driving public-private partnerships to advance intelligence and national security priorities.
INSA has more than 160 corporate members and enjoys extensive participation from senior leaders within the public, private, and academic sectors. Members include current and former high-ranking intelligence, military and government agency leaders, analysts, and experts from industry and academia.
INSA programs and policy councils offer unique professional networking opportunities that foster greater public understanding and appreciation of the work conducted by the intelligence and national security communities and their private sector partners.
